I also got an OFA excellent on a bitch in standing heat. We bred her that
day, she produced 3 Ch's from the litter. Syd

I will recommend that my friend that she take her girl in for her xrays in
between seasons and submit the xrays to OVC then.

After a dog is 2 years old, you can *not* resubmit x-rays in order to
change an OFA rating. Films can be resubmitted for "Follow-up" studies.
These follow-ups are read by only one Radiologist instead of three.
The report sent back will indicate this was a follow-up study, but the
original OFA rating will not be changed in any way. Here's what it says
about this on the OFA website:

earlier official OFA consensus reading on which the animal may have
