Question for you
Why would you worry about a rat snake? They are there because they have food
which means you have rats or mice.

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] SNAKES
We live in the South, in a city, in a neighborhood. Apparently, the snakes
live here, too. Saw a very long snake in my yard today about the size of a
large broom handle. Neighbor said he thought it was a rat snake. It
disappeared underneath a bush before we could "be-head" the creature. Also saw
a report on the news of a dog being bitten by a snake.
Heads up, please be watchful. We bought snake deterrent; however, it is not
dog friendly, so we can only treat areas outside the dogs' reach. Yikes....I
hate snakes!
Does anyone have a home remedy or safe way of deterring the snakes?
