Thank you, Margy. Still, for an important subject such as this one, I
should have thought someone would have suggested a conference call of board
members for a "one purpose" meeting...just to vote on this matter. Someone
has said that the GSDCA is one of the largest, and one of the oldest Parent
Clubs in the country...I'd have thought there was a method in place to
handle subjects that might be considered "emergencies" rather than wait
until the next regular;y scheduled meeting. Peggy

I certainly wouldn't try and speak for Margery or the PClub Officers or
Board.
That said...our delegate to the AKC is Carmen Battaglia who is on record
against the PAWS bill. Perhaps it's just the timing where he can come before
the Board to speak his mind and the Board will act.
Is there any situation where someone "won't" come down on the PClub Board?
If PAWS was due to be voted on in the House and Senate tomorrow or even next
week...I'd be right on that same Bandwagon...get it done folks. This Bill
hasn't even come to a vote on either side of the Legislature.
That doesn't mean it's not important...doesn't mean I want the PClub to
write a letter against it...I just don't see why this Board should be taken
down when it doesn't need to be.
