We finished our bitch, Kenlyn's Connie v Kaleef (Dallas x Quintessential)
today, yea!!! We own Connie with Bob Butterfield and Sandi Johnson so
congrats to them as well. Connie is OFA Excellent and is eagerly awaiting
her next heat cycle to be a wonderful mommy!
We want to thank Jimmy Moses, Sheree Moses and Kent Boyles for the
opportunity provided us to own this beautiful bitch. We are excited and
anticipate that she will strengthen the breed with her health, temperament
and correct movement as both her parents have and will continue to do so for
quite some time.
We also want to brag on our newest boy, Silverhill's Matrix Resolved (Sel Ch
Thief of All Hearts x Legacee's Leap of Faith), ' Max '. We purchased Max
from Diana Harbrink (Canada) and want to thank her for allowing us to buy
this wonderful, wonderful dog. I will have some pictures of him on our
website within a few days. We just purchased him in March and he settled in
and became the 'man of the house' overnight. I saw him once the year before
and fell in love with him immediately. Never even got my hands on him but
saw his tremendous, correct movement and unbelieveable breed type, bone and
most of all, wonderful temperament. Diana offered him to us a year later
and I drove up there as soon as I could to buy him. Jim had never even seen
the dog before and knew for me to be so excited about a male, he had to be
special. He has his first litter on the ground as of yesterday, dam is a
Bungee daughter and we are so excited about this litter. Thank you Alice
Lichens for using Max with your beautiful bitch!
In just about 3 months of showing in the US, he has 11 points and one major!
Actually he has 17 pts but we lost 6 points due to a registration snaffu
(Canadian bred). This boy is winning in both rings (Major in a speciality -
Thank you Ken Tank for handling him so beautifully) and has even gone breed
from the classes in this short career!
We now look forward to getting out our other girl, Leia, who has been
quietly waiting for Connie to finish up. Leia already has a major and minor
pts and ready to go!
We want to give a special thank you to Donna, Paula and Skeeter for
supporting Connie so vigoursly today at ringside. We have just needed 1
more pt on Connie and the crowd support they provided was tremendous and we
so very much appreciate their support, sportsmanship and friendship! The
type of support and friendship demonstrated today is what keeps us in the
breed ring when it seems like only those of us who have been doing this for
awhile are still there any more. Thanks you guys!!!! You are awesome and
an example of how it should be at dog shows and more importantly, how it
should be done in life.
Again, our gratitude to Jimmy, Sherree, Kent, Donna and Diana for Connie,
Leia and Max.
