You didn't read my post carefully.You are in a position to take advantage
of your situation as you live in the area..but driving in from 20+ hours
away to avoid shows in your own area because you have to compete against
more dogs tells me you know the dog needs less competion.You don't need to
drive all over Hell's half acre to show a great one..you could show where
you live(if the judges at the all-breed shows would appreciate him) or you
could go some place with larger entries so that you could test the waters
to see how you compete with more dogs in the competition. No need to read
into something meanings that don't exist. C.Grainger
