Wait. Encourage PET Owners to enter? If you show pet quality, of any
coat, you walk in with the
awareness that there are, potentially, at least 4 more dog in your class
that are SHOW quality and will beat you. So, how long are we going to keep
these people interested in losing??
Too many "reasons" all heartwarming for sure. Practical? Not quite.
As a paying member of this club, I hope their ideas work.
I am with Debbie, thanks for thinking outside the box, it may work, it may
not. But people, show your long coats, those who have all the qualities to
be in the ring, sans the hair, dont trim them, and take your chance, like
every body else. The up of this is we are going to find who the real good
judges are.

I happen to know a little kid that is crazy about fuzz faces, lol.
It is a great way to get PET OWNERS of our lovely coats into showing!!
I can't count the number of gorgeous coats , structure, temperament,
everything
we have put into pet home..aaaack..BUT what if we gave them an easier way
to show?
Another thing, there seems to be a group of people, dissenters, same old
people everytime,
that are NON MEMBERS of the GSDCA. Now it seems to me if these people are
going to
continuously express psuedo outrage over a topic dealing with the Parent
club for the GSD in
this country, that they could have the decency to JOIN first. We may all
have our
opinions on the club, but they have very little value and credibility if we
are not interested enough
even to JOIN the club about which we are soooo opinionated. If you are a
member, then you
more than have the right to criticize, applaud, question, any and all
aspects of the GSDCA.
If you are not, it just sound like "blah blah blah" . If you really
care, then put or or.....
well, you know
BTW Thank you to the Board and The Membership Committee for the HUGE gains
in
membership since January. VERY encouraging.
