You say "lets not point fingers" - so don't point fingers.  It is obvious
that there were numerous glitches in the process.  Sh*t Happens.  The point
is to learn from it, not to have yet another round of accusations.
 
My company has a vendor who does nothing but check the "references" and
employment histories that applicants put on their resumes.  We are often
amazed at the reports they come back with, the misstatements and complete
fabrications they find.

As I recall Election Trust named other clients for whom  they handled
elections and the list was quite impressive- I also believe that Sharon had
difficulty reaching them originally due to a faulty phone number- her error-
were they at fault for that also? Let's not point fingers but solve problems
that will reoccur if not addressed-Kris
