The closest one to us was a seven hour drive away......not even in conjunction with a specialty, that we would attend...so then what? Yes the PC makes provisions for various awards......that is awesome. But we are only talking about the Select class in general. Some folks may not want to go with AOE, or Select Excellent...but at the very least they should pass a test to weed out the dogs of poor temperament and character. The LLTE simply is NOT enough.
