It seems to me that each dog needs to be shown at the speed it looks best.
some look better running and some slower- An ol handler of mine use to tell
me " you can loose looking good or loose looking bad" If your dog does not
look good going slow then your handler better not move it slow and visa
versa. When I put a dog in the ring with a handler I do it to win - so that
handler had better show the dog to its best advantage slow or fast
