The number of litters nominated & the entries in a particular region are not
necessarily equal. Entries are based on who is JUDGING in that particular
region. As an example, I nominate in the Mid Pacific Region but if the judge in
my region is not the best for my dogs, I will go to a different region to show
my dogs.

But doesn't it diminish the idea of "getting wood" when you beat one dog or
no dogs and still "take home wood" from a class. Whatever the reasons are
for low entries, and they've been beat to death previously so I'm not going
into them, why not contract the regions per the entry #s and make "getting
wood"
in a class mean something again? It seems to me we're on a downward
spiral...
