I have a F.B. page. I've enjoyed it greatly so far. I've met some really
awesome/fun people on F.B. As a photographer/artist it has been fun to meet
others with the same interests. And especially it's all about the dogs for
me. But in the last week or so I was getting requests for supporting all of
those horrible causes for abused animals. And it was mostly about the
dogs/horse's. The support causes always came with graphic photos. I asked
the two women that kept sending me these things NOT to do it anymore.
Because when they do that it's posted on the front of your F.B. page. You
can go on there & delete but I was having to do this daily which I found
extremely annoying. Yes, I support in the fight against abuse in many other
ways. But daily posting that never ended with this was totally depressing me
like it did a few others I know. Those two people just kept sending the
requests to me & ignored my NOW private e-mails to them. So I finally
deleted ALL support causes from my F.B. page. I've also deleted all games,
etc. I find all of that a total waste of my valuable time. Just my thoughts
for the day & always...;o)

I'm not on Facebook as I just don't have the time...so I don't really know
whether or not
that is part of the reason the List is not getting many posts. BUT...it
could be as I know
I'm not even involved in it .....and I get hundreds of invites....so it has
got to be very time
consuming just to keep up. There is no way I have time for it.
I think the List rules are more than fair and very necessary as has been
shown more
than once .........when we don't follow the rules.... we have problems.

( would be great to post photos....but it's a huge list to handle that )
All I know is it sure isn't what it used to be regarding discussions about
our show
dogs......even though it IS a list for SHOW GSD's.
Used to be great discussions about the Standard, movement, faults, correct
structure,
what to strive for......what to be concerned about according to what we are
seeing...shows,
conditioning, grooming........etc. Hardly see that anymore. Mostly all
off topic.
A GREAT group on this List for helping quickly with advice on problems, help
for almost
any question......willingness to help with almost any problem.
But great in depth discussions about the Breed.........really lacking. I
miss that.
