   I had a German exchange student a few years back that worked with a 
schutzhund club in Germany . She claimed  that dogs have no sense of self 
awareness . She returned to Germany and I didn't bother to stay in touch . 
I think that she and this jerk that wrote the article, are just some of 
those  people you often run across in the world . I like to call them 
androids . Just an artificial intelligence without feeling or caring for 
anyone other than themselves. They don't have the capacity to understand the 
love of a dog.
