Some people have a true gift for being able to convey their message. Dave
Rinke has that all his life.
In my job i acheived the cheif tech MRI position, and was very good at what
i did, but i had poor communication skills in teaching someone else how to
do it.
It is a gift and some people just don't have it.........it doesn't make
their eyes, knowledge or experience any less than others when judging they
just don't have a way with words............
Most people can't handle publicly hearing negatives about their dogs
bluntly. Especially from one judge giving their opinion on that day. Notice
i said most people and not all.
It does offend people and sadly there are so few left in this sport i think
AKC truly prefers we don't offend our exhibitors.
I will always take the time to spend with someone after the show one on one,
but if they ask they need to be prepared for what my eyes see and the blunt
truth.
