Would the fact that you are judging dogs that are owned by other judges effect
your critiques?
Who was the judge that when asked to critique the dogs said. Well I like the
first one better than the second, and I like the second one better than the
third, and I like the third one better than the fourth. :0)
The fact is that the written word is different for every person that reads
it. For example in the German critiques the use of Good is closer to the word
acceptable here in the USA. If the judges say something is good it is better
to keep in mind he or she did Not say VERY GOOD or EXCELLENT.
With everyone packing around digital cameras these days we have a better
documentation of the dogs then we ever have had. You have people around the
country taking both stacked shots and moving shots of the dogs. If the pictures
are left original they will be a great archive of the breed.
