Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Concrete floors in your home? > I looked at a house yesterday with concrete floors. Poured a concrete slab using a limestone mix. Then cut 'prox 1/4" wide by 1/2" deep grooves with a concrete saw on a 5'-ft square grid. The soft limestone prevented any chipping along edge of groove. Stained the concrete, then used a contrasting grout to fill the gooves. Had more fun convincing guests that it took a big crane to handle those large pieces of concrete and put them in place. lol It's held up very well and and has housed two or three GSD's all these years. Messes are easy to clean up. A couple of rugs and their crates with doors open give them plenty of room to sleep. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2007.
