I agree sensitive personal matters should always be discussed in private, but
in my opinion, it is cowardly of our elected officials to vote in private and
keep the individual votes secret from the membership. Anytime a vote is taken,
the breakdown of who voted for/against/abstained should be made public for all
members to see. And who knows, maybe the BOD will be brave enough to publish
the voting results for all to see - I sure hope so.
