Thanks to all who have taken the time to provide feedback on this first
attempt at an interim updating of the home page for the museum.  The
comments are very relevant and I would agree that for the new site there
needs to be less duplication and wording than at present.  For the time
being it looks to me like the shaded photograph does add something and I
did not find too much difficulty in reading the text either on my phone,
laptop or PC.

The search box seems to work but does go to some external sites.  I found
it slightly confusing just appearing on the page.

Can I please remind everyone that this email list is there for general
discussion of museum matters and that emails addressed to individual
recipients should be sent as private emails and not through the use of this
list.
