I've had that experience too. It's perhaps not so easy to blend in with
crowds of tourists and other photographs when you're aiming for something
candid but people seem far more relaxed and happy on the side of the
camera. I've only had one person actually ask much about the camera and
that was a local photographer who'd used one in the 60s/70s and I was
happy to gain some of his tips :-)
