I'd like to update this thread about my Rolleiflash 1. A friend of mine, an
electronic engineer, replaced the flash capacitor; in fact the original
capacitor still worked someway, but my friend said it was very old and he
replaced it using the same values and taking in mind the circuit shown in
the Rollei Technical Report. The flash is working ok according the tester
and other instruments used to check it. The bulbs are the problem according
this friend of mine, I couldn't find bubs in good working condition; the
five Osram I initially bought did not work and others I bought in eBay are
not right for this model. I will wait some time to try again if I am sure
about the bulbs working and the bulbs size.-
