Thanks for posting, Carlos, and I will follow your adventure into
flash lamb photography with interest.
Several carbon zinc 22.5V Batteries are available on Amazon. It might
be a good idea to replace the capacitor pre-emptively.
My question is did Rollei make any kind of safety shield or diffusor
for this attachment, as Kodak and others did?

I had the Rollei 2,8C bulb flash my father gave me with the camera. Years
ago, my three years old son found it, he opened the plastic bag, ge opened
the flash triangular metal box and he destroyed the capacitor, the test lamp
and circuitry beating them with a stone; he also beat the reflector with the
same stone.
I saw the same flash in a local auction site within the original Rollei box
and bought it last year. I don't know if it was used, but it looks unused,
the refector is still wrapped in the original silk paper and the parts look
clean, pristine.
Now I want to use it and I have two issues: Bulbs and the battery , hoping
the other parts (capacitor and circuitry) are working well
The 22,5v battery has a marginal production today and I found one int the UK
via eBay and found I bouht old bulbsin a local site; I'm waiting for both
items and I expecto to use theflash soon.-
