One says 50 uF-100uF rated at 20V. Another says 22uF-100uF.
Seems that ballpark should work

Well one fellow there says 50 to 100uF. Sounds reasonable and
worth trying. Caps should be perhaps twice the battery voltage. I
have a Rollieflash but am not sure where it is. I will look in my
camera bags but may not have put it in one since I never use it.
More anon...

Yes you are correct.--
In this thread, someone addresses the value of a replacement
capacitor for a flash bulb unit. Again, I have no idea how
reliable this is

I think this refers to caps used in strobe flash. I did
some
searching but was not able to come up with anything specific
about flashbulb flashing. I will continue to search. Probably
Carlos will have to open the flash and look at the part. If
he is
lucky it will have values on it and not just a part number or
maybe nothing. I suspect Rollei never provided any repair
information but perhaps its in one of the big Rollei repair
handbooks. I am sure the cap is nothing special, especially
since
modern electrolytic caps use different chemistry than the ones
used as the originals. They are better in performance and in
lifetime.
