Sometimes Rollei management believed that because they made good products this fact was enough to sell them, Paul Franke was the best marketing expert for Rollei and they did not have a similar one after his death. Rollei 2000/3001/3 were outstanding systems but very expensive considering they were workhorses without specific collection value, again some Japanese cameras offered a better price-results relationship.
