I forgot to comment that the three liquid German developers I have used from about 2002: Rodinal, Rodinal Special and Tetenal Ultrafin Plus indicate the dilution with the symbol "+", f.e. 1+25, 1+50, 1+4, 1+ 3 and others Agfa developers instructions were given using the "+" symbol too, in the other hand Ilford and Kodak use the symbol ":" for the different dilutions, after eight years of continous use I became familar with the liquid German developers. BTW, my Pan F 50 developed in the Microdol X full strength looks pretty good really.
