2010/3/9 Mark Rabiner <mark@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:
I can tell you hou will get full shadow detail at 320 probably with the Microdol 1:3 as that gives you full film speed so you'll be probably be over
exposing.
You might check out the curve of the film and see if you really want to be
over exposing.

Thank you Mark, I think you are right, a friend of mine sent me that suggestion but there is an error, I did not find the combo TXP ISO 200 Microdol X 1:3 in the Kodak technical sheet or any other web site or
forum. I'll use the film at ISO 320.

Oh they'll have it all right. The super geek chart- sombody. That does not
mean you'd want to use it.

The Kodak data sheet for both kinds of Tri-X gives times for both in full strength Microdol-X but only for the ISO-400 version in Microdol-X 1:3. No speed correction is given for the full strength development but a slight increase in exposure is usually desirable. At 1:3 there is no speed loss but its not recommended that the developer be used at temperatures under 75F. This probably counts for TXP as well. Since there is no advantage in grain for Microdol-X at 1:3 one might as well use D-76. The only advantage the diluted Microdol has is acutance and that is of relatively less importance for Rollei size negatives than 35mm negatives.
