Hi Thor:
             Yes, there are Contax II/III Kiev replicas very much; I'm
sure about my Contax II authenticity because my mother in law  -88
years old- knows the camera origin when brand new, she gave me the
camera as a present. Eddy also told me it was 100% original, but it
got a Kiev part from him, the camera top cover was bent slightly and
it could affect the telemeter accuracy and then he replaced it with a
Kiev one, BTW he sent me the original part with the camera, it has the
word "Alemania" in Spanish from factory meaning (at least very
possibly) the camera was exported to my country directly.
