it does eat up a lot of my time.........put what I described along with the
piano and organ students I have. It's an easy job, and good money, at
600$/week, for doing what I love....I'm in heaven! It can get tough when I have
3 weddings on a Saturday, all back to back, then the 5pm mass. This is a
basilica, and I have weddings all year 'round. The retainer fee is to keep me
there, and also, since the basilica is a tourist attraction (open all day long,
every day), I also play a few hours a day, so people will hear the organ. I
teach some of my organ students there, some here in my home, and the piano
students come here.
