Hi Anne,
You can still get motion sickness. I just have light perception but I'm not
sure if that will help you. Are you concerned about travelling on a boat
yourself? Most ones I've been on have been pretty smooth, and if not I found
sitting or lying down was the most helpful, just to minimize dizziness
thereby preventing falling.
I'm not sure if this will help, but I hope so.

I thought some people who have been blind for a long time may know if you
cannot get sea sick if you cannot see?
The tour guide at Dialogue in the Dark mentioned this. Hmmm
