Honestly, I'm not convinced there are people who actually like
Windows. Even the so-called good versions only ever seem to get praise
compared to the proceeding bad versions and at best, people have no
serious issues with Windows while most people seem to use it either
because they don't know Linux exists, can't afford Apple, can't be
bothered to learn a different OS(despite Microsoft changing things to
the point of having to relearn Windows every few versions), or because
of some third party software that's Windows-only that they can't or
are unwilling to find a cross platform alternative to.
I'm not fond of USB flash drives either, but personal opinion,
switching from the full-sized SD card slot on the original Pi to
microSD was the worst decision the Raspberry Pi Foundation ever made(I
like my memory cards being big enough I can actually find them if I
drop them, thank you very much) and would absolutely love a Kit that
included an adaptor for using full-sized SD as system card and a case
that exposed the upgraded SD slot to the outside world. A second
full-sized SD slot for a Data card would also be amazing, especially
with a physical switch to swap which card is system and which is data
for dual booting without card swapping.
How nerve wracking it is to handle microSD aside, I do like that the
Pi offers a fairly easy means of swapping distros on the go.
