DEAR TIM, I think Richard might have more specific info on this but it is my guess that, because HC-110 is so concentrated, it has a proportionally high concentration of sodium sulfite in it which is the antioxidant/preservative so they can get away with plastic instead of glass. Then again, it might be the kind of plastic in that particular bottle but I would put my money on the high concentration of sulfite. CHEERS! Is the plastic they are using of a variety that does not have this problem? i.e., Should I keep my old HC-110 bottles and reuse them to hold developers? -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tim Daneliuk tundra@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx PGP Key: http://www.tundraware.com/PGP/ ============================================================================ ================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there. __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 9583 (20140324) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 9584 (20140324) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com
