Dear Friends,
Wow!*
Wow, again. Must get the repair shop to do something about that wow....
This is a new set of ideas. I do normally rinse the C41 negs in the Jobo
tanks - with warm water for the recommended number of changes - but I had
never thought of doing the print washing in the large drum as well. As these
prints will be RA 4 colour - on R/C paper I believe - can I get away with it
in the drum?
If I can get some of the stabiliser, will this be usable in the drum
without jiggering anything up? If I use the stabiliser, do I give the print
a short water wash in-drum afterwards to clear out the chemical?
Sounds like this may be more convenient that I had planned on. The
production of 20" x 24" prints will be new to me and I daresay I won't be
producing many per session so the time spent washing in the drum will not
impact too heavily on the session.
Thanks to all who are responding - already 2 new ideas!
Uncle Dick
* And if you must be formal, Wow, Sir. I have known many Wowsers in my
time....
