After removal of the transit screw there is still some vibration if I touch the
head but it is more of a sensation / hmmmm than vibration.

Using larger mixing box than required for neg will give slightly longer times I
think, but how long? 20 seconds should be OK.
Really depends which focal length lens you are using. i.e. for 10x8 print from
a 6x6 neg using 80mm lens, how high is head compared to 10x8 print from 35mm
using 6x6 box using 50mm lens? If the head height using the 50mm lens is the
same then yes print times will be longer because of using 6x6 box because you
are throwing light away.
The mixing box designs are such that you get fairly consistent print times
across formats using standard lens for each format.
On my 4x5 mixing box I can change the lower translucent white plastic for
different thickness to alter print time. Durst made these but they are likely
difficult to obtain now. I don't know if they are available for my 67 box or
not but I don't really need them.

dials on mine are also quite dim.
