Hi Speedy Many people have suggested books, so I won’t add to the already comprehensive list. I found this video of a talk hosted by the B&H store in New York particularly good. Eileen Rafferty talks on ‘Visual Design of a Photograph’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9RQ6YPVWhA If you have not seen any of the B&H videos they are worth looking-up. There are several on composition. I hope you get as much from them as I do. I am looking for a good book on Composition. I am not looking for the basics, or even something written for an "Intermediate" photographer. I am hoping to find a book similar in caliber to Barry Thornton's "Edge of Darkness" or Tim Rudman's "The Photographer's Toning Book..." So, what is your suggestion for the best book on composition available? Thanks Chuck (AKA "Speedy")
