I couldn't find what Ren are made of, but there's also the question of
Lune which are not gold (I assume it is possible to still have some
Lune).

Would it help to "reduce your current totals of Gold Crows, Lune, and
Ren by half"?
Also notice "you clothes" -> "your clothes". I don't have the book
handy to check if this is an erratum.
