LOL what you must remember is that,
just as the Lone Wolf series translates Sommlending into English for us by convention,
so does the Freeway Warrior series translate Texan into English for us :)

Speaking as a seventh generation native Texan, there's no way anyone
from around here would ever say "Every little helps" without adding
the "bit" in there.

Honestly, though, there's so much British usage throughout the FW
books (or incorrect attempts at Texan usage) that it's probably
neither worthwhile nor appropriate to try and correct them all.

Heh... I remember reading these when I was younger and being
constantly freaked out at driving through Texas and having my "tyres"
shredded.
