nothing wonder me.
I've seen jaws same version behave so different on different computers with same configuration. 
So I think there are some settings which makes it behave strange.
But they are so deeply hide.
More over it can be a problem with video intercept which does not installed correctly. So there are so many posibilities that, when I have problems, I reinstall evry thing.

um, jaws doesn't "do that for those who use msn."
It works great on my other laptop.
I'm thinking it's a video card issue or something with the settings.

yep, that is what jaws does for those that use msn.
Might want to check out the jaws-users.com site for issues with oe.

ah, have you gotten rid of the preview pane yet? folks say that that thing can get in the way and block your reading.

Hello list,
I just got my new laptop, and was working on writing a message here about it, when I noticed a problem. I haven't noticed this problem before, but with some edit boxes, I can't arrow up or down. 
I'm using jaws 9, with xp pro.
This is mainly happening in Outlook Express, notepad seems to be working great. 
Your ideas would be great, I'd like to get this fixed if possible.
