Could it be your resolution, or the Desktop Theme? Maybe try windows
classic desktop theme.

It seems to be multiple issues now--when someone sends me an msn message, it
just sits there and reads the title of the window, like "<person>-conversation"
over and over and over until I actually go to that window

ah, have you gotten rid of the preview pane yet? folks say that that thing
can get in the way and block your reading.

Hello list,
I just got my new laptop, and was working on writing a message here
about it, when I noticed a problem.
I haven't noticed this problem before, but with some edit boxes, I
can't arrow up or down.
I'm using jaws 9, with xp pro.
This is mainly happening in Outlook Express, notepad seems to be
working great.
Your ideas would be great, I'd like to get this fixed if possible.
