Thanks. I know that programming is not music composition. Programming is another ball of wax. But I'm home all day so I'd like to learn something new. When I attended college you needed an Opttacon to have access to a computer. I didn't know they existed. So where do I start?

Programming would require that you learn an absolutely huge amount of material that has nothing to do with your desired music work, where use of an existing program would only require that you find one that is accessible enough (from what I have read this may be difficult) and then learn how to use it.
