Till now I only used the paste. How selection is done? I mean when you want only to select a part of text.

What about the edit submenu of the console window's system menu?

As in, if it's a normal terminal window, hit alt + space, E for edit, to open the edit submenu, and then you can do something like select all, copy, paste etc., and this does something like copy the text contents that are currently being displayed/rendered, which you can then paste into something like a text editor to just make use of parts thereof.

STay well

Thanks guys for all your responses. It is working relatively well with nvda. However, it is either I don't know how to cut and paste using nvda in a "dos" type window, or you just can't with nvda and teraterm. With jaws, you invoke the virtual viewer and cut.

Any ideas?

In appModules, there are modules with names
ttermpro.py, securecrt.py and putty.py.
So appModules are available, I think for a long time.

Hello,

What about app modules for tteraterm or maybe one for SecureCRT? I
don't know python, but would be interested in knowing if there are
existing modules before I try to take on a project of writing one.

Thanks.
Dave.

Sorry, that’s how unstable jaws is on the company network.

I’m testing nvda currently. Anyone used it with telnet programs?
