Cutting and pasting in a DOS window has nothing to do with NVDA or any other
screen reader. You need to hit Alt + Space, then scroll down to Edit, then
press Right Arrow. Scroll to Copy if you want to copy and scroll down to Paste
if you want to paste. You can copy from some other window and paste to the
console, or you can copy from the Console and paste to another window. I don't
remember how to copy part of the console. If you have NVDA, though, you can use
the review cursor to copy text from the screen to the clipboard. You put the
review cursor on the first character, then hit NVDA + F9. Then you move to the
last character you want to copy and hit NVDA + F10. I like that feature of
NVDA. With JAWS, you can get a copy of the window into the Virtual buffer, and
use the usual selection med, as in Shift Arrow keys, and Control + C to copy to
the clipboard.
