I understand that it's only two guys. My problem is not that NVDA is not the best screen reader out there, but that I was all but told they don't even have that as a eventual goal or aspiration. Or that creating even a minimal app module to show how it should be done is pointless because windows programs are all so different. FS might not be the best company in the world but they do an exponentially better job of supporting developers. It is my strong belief that if the NVDA project were to concentrate on making the product as easy as possible for others to write the modules for that application support would take care of itself. I could understand being told "Developer documentation is boring, maybe we'll get around to it eventually" but again that's not the attitude I got from them. I just don't see any point in supporting people who won't publicly claim to want to produce the best program they can. Maybe the best they can produce is still not the best on the market but damn it they should still want to meet or exceed that bar.
