My old friend in HAM radio used to have a saying I loved.  When we'd 
be doing something technical, and having a great deal of trouble 
figuring out how to do it, he'd pull out the instructions and say 
"lets read the "destructions" and see how it goes".  <chuckle>
It was probably a lot funnier than it sounds here <G>
