I keep it off and let WinPatrol tell me what's up.  For those without 
WinPatrol, TeaTimer should be allowed to run.

TeaTimer will catch some things that WinPatrol doesn't monitor (as you've 
already discovered), but most of them are not of the same security level as 
what WinPatrol watches.  That doesn't mean that TeaTimer is worthless if 
you're already running WinPatrol.  I just prefer to have one program 
annoying me on occasion.       ;O)
