Welcome to Vista.

After a hopefully short learning curve, Vista will be something you like.

I have had it since last summer and am enjoying it.

When you have IE open, on the top of the page. right click.

You will see options for Menu Bar as well as other items.
Click on the Menu Bar and it will pop up for you.

Enjoy Vista. What version do you have? My other half has Home Premium and
I have Ultimate.

I do suggest you look for and purchase a helper for Vista. I would have and
do suggest the same for any new Operating System (OS).

I purchased the Professor Teaches Visa at Fry's.
http://shop4.outpost.com/product/5060735?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
If that link does not work, go to www.fry's and in the search box type in
Professor Teaches and you should get a listing that shows this product.
It is a video and actually covers both XP and Vista. It is $14.99 and right
now it has a $10 rebate. (If you buy it, the link for the rebate form is on
the same page. You can download it and fill it out while waiting for the
product to arrive.)

I personally like the video as it can be replayed over and over and you can
actually SEE the actions to take.

I would also recommend you purchase a Dummies book or other Vista book.

This way, if you get stuck on something, you have an index to check to
possibly find your answer very quickly.

I have two such books. I have the Visually series book on Vista as well as
the Dummies book.
They are handy references.

I did the same thing when I moved from Win Me to XP. (Yes, I was one of
those who went to ME and I managed to survive too! ha ha!)

Hope this helps... Enjoy Vista. I really like it. I find it faster than my
previous XP experience. My other half is running Vista Home Premium on my
old machine (Sony 3.2 ghz) quite nicely.

We have both changed from Norton products to Microsoft's One Care. It seems
to run nicely in the background and does updates without being as intrusive
as Norton was.

We are both happy with our systems, Knock on wood...knock, knock, knock!
We wish you the same great experience.
Just remember, it is new, it is a little different and there will be a
learning curve. Embrace it and enjoy it!
