I thought about that too, but that would remove important information which
is in the filename itself. But I found a way to do it though. There is a
program called Rename Master which allows me to remove the first 50
characters (or any number of characters) in the file name, which shortens
the filename to something Windows accepts, and then I can clean it up with
the context menu renamer.
