i think it was because of a weaker signal. i have splitters and had used
them for tvs from room to room.

I see people have answered this in different ways. I have Adelphia up
here in N.H., so it may be a little different than comcast. But in
answer to your ?, yes you can split your cable feed to the computer. One
for the computer and one for the TV. The one I use is a Antronix model
CMC2002H, with an out put of 3.5 db from each side. You will also need
at least piece of digital cable or satellite cable wire, this would go
to the cable modem. and of course a wire for the TV. The one thing you
have to remember is the more splitters you use the more signal you will
lose. That's the best I can do, with out being there to do it.
Connie I don't know why TWC says it cannot be done, Except for the
service fees.
