Hi Jan,
    It went by that fast because you ignored my directions and tried it a
different way (I've done this myself many times, so don't feel so bad
lol).  Your attempted scan sent back an error message, but the CMD window
closed before you could read it.  Re-read my previous reply and you'll see
that I gave you a different method for getting to CHKDSK.         :)
