They all have the HTTPS even the ones that don't have that popup?  I don't
know the details on how it works, but the HTTPS (secure) sites require some
kind of digital certificate (usually from VeriSign).  Can you tell us
exactly what the popup says?

They have an "S".  They are links to my electronic filebox at the online 
college I am attending.  But, I did not have this problem with Microsoft 
office 2000 when I created html pages with links to the site.  I notice when

it pops up, it says the place were I am trying to link to is requiring this.

The "view certificate" is greyed out.  If I click ok or cancel, it just 
hangs up and I have to get out of the program.
