When I used it, I let it 'scan'. It brought up a list of items. I had to read that list and find the name of the item I wanted to get rid of in the path of one of those items. I then put a checkmark beside it to delete it and after that it was gone and I had no problems. I remember I put a checkmark in a few that sounded like ones I could delete.
