Hi George > Ekhart, > I owe you an apology because I deliberately used your name the way you don't > like. I'm sorry. Could you do me a favor and lighten up on trying to tell us > what to do and belittling us if we don't do things your way? No need to apologize, at least in your case; i'm used to people confusing my first and last names, just wanted to point out which was which. I'm very sorry if something i said was trying to tell you what to do in a way you didn't like or that made you feel i was belittling you. I tried to make jokes out of your continuing to use Outlook Express while being afraid of being considered paranoid and about calling me a little, overexcited friend -- which i could have got upset about and considered belittling if i hadn't been in a good mood (-: -- but those were honestly meant as jokes. Sorry if they were bad. I suppose you only didn't like the *way* i told you that it's not a good idea to continue using Outlook Express, not the fact that i told you that and why it's not a good idea -- i mean that's what we're here for, to give computer advice. And if i understand Scott's comment in another post correctly, he also might now be leaning towards saying that OE is not a safe program even with the preview pane turned off: (Scott: That reminds me; I think I *HAVE* heard of a worm that can execute withOUT an email needing to be opened... perhaps that's what he was thinking of.
