I have Win XP home version and tried to install Windows Access97 on it. After
entering the code from the back of the case, Access then installed OK.
However upon trying to run it, I get an error message:

"Access can not start because there is no license for it on this machine"

How can that be since it accepted the code and then installed. I realize that
the new office for XP requires online authorization, Windows 97 office does NOT.

Anyone got any ideas?

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
